fishing west coast

Post  jazzman on Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:44 am

hi guys
Sorry i come with bad news at the moment the fishing from Fleetwood To blackpool ( gynn wall ) is not producing any fish at all
i did hear of some reports from the power cable of cod during the day but over the last few weeks since we had the cold spell it seems to
have pushed the fish out of the bay my latest fish was sat night or early sun morning with not a bite the tides for this week are backing off
but then come back again by weekend with a bit of a wind wed/thu but in the wrong direction so even if the tides get up on sat/sun if the
temp does not get a few degrees warmer i carn,t see much fish being caught. the report from the boats is reasonable and the cod have ( herring )
inside the guts but again they are from deeper water. So if the plan for a fish is coming up be prepared for a blank or the odd fish coming out.
a strong sent in the water with a lot of rods fishing could entice some fish closer in and again only if the weather bucks up.
