HOOK SIZES

hook sizes go like this:
smallest 24,23,22,,,,,,0/1 then 1/0,2/0,3/0,,,,,,,,,10/0 biggest
i use 1/0 for general beach fishing remember small hooks can catch big fish but big hooks can't catch small fish.

I agree prefering to use smaller hooks myself..and if and when the bigger fish show I can make a few rigs accordingly Smile

this must be why i,m not catching nowt then ,those little suckers cant get a 4/0 pennel down em pmsl

My last whiting was caught on a 4/0 pennel with a whole squid stuffed with lug ...........How the greedy little bugger got his gob round that lot I`ll never know Laughing
