Looking forward to fishing Brid. please insert ' Really looking forward '
Ok once more Tink is asking questions ( maybe also helpful to others as well? dunno maybe they already know )
Q1, What's the best kind of bait for around there, I know its the black for here but...?
Q2, What's the most effective style, Float, or ledger or Both ( which is preferred for what fish ) ?
Q3, What's in season at the moment, What kind of fish are we hoping to catch ( and is it yummy ) ie over here its codling, whiting ect, but is it Pollock, Coley over there? these are fish we do not get here ( i know nothing about east coast fish ) and how do we catch them?
Q4, Is it the same methods or something different?
The reason i am asking this is because We, Ali and myself, have never fished over on that side of the country and don't know what to expect, which is good 'cos new styles and fishing styles and tactics can only improve our own styles.
Q5, Can we bring along a non member? he is a good lad and a great laff but he really just keeps forgetting to join, when we get him here next time he will be reminded to join up ( he dont know what he is missing ) but he is not here very often, plus it will cut the fuel bill Very Happy
Chalk up Birdy as well
And if we can fetch along a non member please add Dan as well
Thanx
Smile

Mmm, very strange!

Post  tomcat on Mon Dec 28, 2009 11:22 am

It might intrigue your curiosity to take a peep at the Google satellite shot Chris has attached to this thread on Google maps satellite view rather than the pic on the thread.
Look out to sea a few hundred metres from ther area of the wall to be fished.
Has Google discovered Atlantis?
Strange or what?

Just copied this report from 'another forum' fishing report on this venue.
It may be worth having a plan B in case all spots are occupied when you arrive.
