The cod have started to show in good numbers
on the beach when the sea if rough
it can take a very rough sea and still be fishable

Rawlins Bottom
Season: Mid Sept to March
Bait: Worm, mussels
Fish: Cod, whiting, coalfish
Sea state: mod to rough
Fish here at 2h befor low water and over low water.
40 Yard cast a low water
Clrence Hole
Season: Mid Sept to March
Bait: Worm, mussels
Fish: Cod, whiting
Sea state: mod to rough
This is a small hole and will produce lots of fish over low water on big
spring tides watch for people moving there and follow asap
Shop Hole
Season: Mid Sept to March
Bait: Worm, mussels
Fish: Cod, whiting
Sea state: mod to rough
Fish here 2.5h after high tide for a bout 1h
The Bulge
Season: Mid Sept to March

Like the look of the Sea Life Centre
I might give the Sea Life Centre in Blackpool a bash today they have some big specimens in them there tanks!
