We'll set a new launch date just as soon as we know you're OK, but don't forget the warning on those tins of paint "Turns pink if not used by end 2010" Laughing

Here's a few bits 'n pieces all ready:

Donated spare wheel for the trailer stripped and repainted. The (salvaged!) chairs have all been cleaned and had new rubber ferrules fitted to protect our new deck. The Captains chair works really well and is ready for glassing and screwing to the deck before the non-slip paint.
But I'm smuggly chuffed at the anchor locker's new hatch ......... complete with viewing panel! No need to take it off to check we're sailing with the spare anchor.

That's no problem lads I was just wondering where you was up to. I still have that date penciled in for a fishing jolly if any one else is up for it.

Is anyone still going to fleetwood to fish this weekend? I know meerkats launch has been put off.Maybe we should turn it to a mini meet instead

So sorry to hear that you had to postpone the launch date as I know that you have all been working darned hard and have really been looking forward to getting afloat.
Hope that Chris' back improves asap, know all about back problems hehehe, guess he's been playing tug of war with the mrs over the colour....I want pink! No no no it's gonna be white! NO CHRIS IT'S GONNA BE PINK!!! Either that or they broke the chandelier?

I recall Chris offering me a bet of £200 that the boat would be finished and on the water in June this year.
I said I wouldn't take his money as he had no chance.
Everything with boats takes time to do right. 1 day jobs take a week. Week long jobs often span months.
They just eat time and money.
Other than horses, I can't think of hobby more demanding of time and money than private boat angling. The sport has extremes of highs and lows. You guys are currently in a low. First time fishing on the boat and I bet none of you even remember this period!
