Re: sea cadets, sunday or monday night tide.
Well I got to the sea cadets car park at 8.30 last night. there were about 10 other anglers already there.
So I got set up and went down to the 4th groin below the coast guard station. Everything looked perfect, a nice steady swell pushed by a light wind , full moon but a goodish cloud cover and no rain even though it had been forcast.
Got both rods fired out with pulley wishbone rigs for max distance with 2 baits on each. Frozen black and peeler on 2/0 hooks on the surf rod and Frozen black and macky on size 1 hooks on the bass rod. So I sat on the steps and waited. I rebaited every half hour just to stop me getting bored as each time I reeled in they were untouched , even the crabs weren,t playing.
I gave up at 2am and came home. Another bloody blank at Fleetwood , the only place I blank at.
A few small whiting were landed by a couple of lads fishing near the car park but most who were out blanked.
A long walk to the gynn wall looks a better bet for the next time I go out fishing.

Hard Luck Mike I would have put money on a decent result there Sunday night as the conditions did seem perfect but that beach is a jink to me too, as I have blanked there every time I have fished it without fail. Top marks for giving it a go though mate.
