Fleetwood Meet : 26th September

Post  Tink on Sat Sep 26, 2009 8:19 pm

Well thanks to everybody who showed up and made my First organised meet possible cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers

Well getting the bait was a nightmare as the worms at Marine Beach just wern't playing but between us we had enough ( just ) Clive went and bought some worms as well as a bit of other stuff, Makky and Sandeels.
After a Brew and Bacon Butties cooked by Chris we set off to Rossall Beach and started to drown the worms, Well there was plenty of us there and all of us BLANKED!! every single one of us caught nothing, But it was still a good day out and i finally put names to faces and we raised £20 for the Lifeboats
once more thank you all for showing up and making it a very good day out
cheers
Steve

oh and dont forget to wake Frank up lol!

Good 'un Tink, and well done to everyone for another successful and fun meet.
I don't think anyone thought the fish would turn up (7m tide) but that didn't stop us having a great day.
Good to meet new faces Buster and Tripitaka.

A big thank-you to Ch3f-Chris and King Canute (aka FishingwithFrank) for the bacon butties and endless brews. cheers
Steve

My first meet with this forum and what a great day it was too. Endless fun all day long with some great people. Many thanks to everyone who made it so. Too bad about the lack of fish but with such a low tide I think it was on the cards.

I only managed to take a few piccys of the day before the camera battery died No

Your first meet and you remembered the camera! Well done Gordon cheers
There's some good tides in October for pumping and fishing, so hopefully there's going to be plenty of opportunities to get out.
