today at marine beach

just got home from a wonderful days fishing with squiresoak, we started the afternoon with getting of the worms and me showing how to use the bait pump not just to squiresoak but also to these three lads with a wide bore cannon but we beet them hands down, yup i do think they went away from us because they got none and did not like being shown up by me he he.

we raced the tide and had a 20 minute break before getting ourselves set up, so bait on hooks and off we went, we had a great time laughing at the kite surfers in the distance and at the loonies taking there boats out, the wind was such that we could not detect bites but we approached it with a hit and hope attitude witch served us well enough.

the catch result was i got 1 tiny whiting and a small flounder, squiresoak got one small whiting and one larger whiting, the small ones added to the bait as they were a bit damaged.

we both had a fantastic time and it should prove to be good fishing on the meet, so see you all on saturday and make sure you bring a jumper with you as if it is as windy as today you may be glad of it.
