town quay 24/07/09

Fished the quay last night with a few friends , arrived at 5.30 pm to have a bash at some mini species , especially wrasse as i havent caught one here for years and have seen a few pulled out lately , didnt dissapoint only a small one but proof they are there ...............



chris started the night off with a hound around the 7 lb mark , then went on to bag a bass of 5 lb , no pics as he was the other end of the quay , deano (youwishjellyfish) , then hit into a cracking bass of 4 lb 10 ozs .....



well done mate , my turn with a monster hound of 4 lbs ............



then aaron hit into his biggest bass of the year , the greedy git taking half a mackeral fillet .....................



then chucked out a sole rig in hope of bagging a good one , resulted in a slip of 9 ozs ........



then another on the next chuck , just a bit smaller , cracked on at the bass and was rewarded with a fine specimen of 3 1/2 lbs ..................



sorry about the pic , aarons a crap photographer , missed quite a few bass hits but there were a few gooduns pulled out , all fish were returned to fight another day , had enough by 7am this morning and went home to bed , another marathon session
