chanced my arm on the upper river nr clitheroe for a night session hoping to get into a sea trout and i wasnt dissapointed river looked good carrying about 6in and not to coloured hooked the first fish about 1am small herling about 1and a quarter on the magical rogans gadget my 2nd came at 1.30 a similar sized fish both returned then hooked a much larger fish at 2.30 ish which had me on the backing on its first run got in coming in then off it went again back to the backing i managed to gain the upper hand only for it to come adrift close to the net gutted i was so much so i packed up. its always the biguns that come off in my case anyway , but theres always next time maybe i,ll try the wenning at hornby
