MEERKAT ....... the birth!

just a quick update as how things are going with meerkat this 1st pic is steve thinking how hes gona sort it out



but me knowing steve he soon had it in hand and a new floor had its bearers made (nice 1 steve )

Ta mate .... I'll keep practising!
' got the deck sheets cut and fitted as well, so after a few small screw holes in the hull are repaired, we're not long off ready for fibreglass.
Just need to get some batteries for Chris to keep the pictures coming

Just a tip Steve, screwdrivers are better than hammers fo putting screws in!!!!

two days on the meercat chriss and john spent friday morning glassing in place the two aft bearers and the sump plus the very front bearer glassed in and two more middle bearers tacked in place ready for glassing but run out of resin untill monday so saterday i was alone so i attacked that red and pink house hold paint that some dork had painted her with YOU WILL BE PLEASED TO KNOW NO MORE PINK OR RED any where to be seen but im knackerd im going on the guiness now iv earnd it cheers jonty

.......... and I've spent the day sorting the trailer out!
Every (12) roller taken off, cleaned and polished. Refitted on nice clean bearings packed with grease.
All being well it'll get jet-washed tomorrow and will look like new. (photo to follow!)

well wednesday the 12th 09 we took the boat over to jontys so we can work on her in the dry in his garage.
and now we are ready to glass the floor in here's a few pics for you

Are you sure it wasn't for those delicious sausage and bacon barms!!!!!!

There's certainly some work gone into her so far, she's going to look great when she hits the water.

Hi all what a read, so far so good and brilliant pictures too what can I say but congratulations too all of you you really doing a great job, looking really great
about the colour cherry and white would look better than blue Chris pitty you did not put a piccy on of Jonty covered in dust lol. Really good read and will look forward to more updates, very well done to all concerned

looking good chris dont forget i have six rod tubes ,a compasss and a fish box full of bits and.bobs stailess nuts and bolts etc you will visit it many times before your done,call in any time ,regards andy.
