report Fished Anchorsholme Sat 30th May
very good day
met up with Andy (oldgreyfox), Eddie (cloughie) and granddaughter Alicia then Ron (jazzman) came to say hello at the front of norbreck.
kazz fished the low water (she can tell you her results
) and we pumped the worm.
pumping worm was so hard today uno why tho only got about 70.
then went for fish and chips and settled at Anchorsholme to eat them
for me slow start then 1 flatty and that was it for me

but on the plus side got to fish with some great company and a cracking tan
thanks guys and girls.
kazz has the pics
bait: lug
regards chris

Re: report Fished Anchorsholme Sat 30th May
As Chris said cracking afternoon for a tan but not much cop for fishing though , another big fat blank for me I`m afraid
On the plus side the chippy lunch was great , deffo putting that place on my good chippy list !!!
Lots of tiny sole at the low water mark too , hopefully some of them will return when they get a bit bigger
Lesson of the day seemed to be that if your going to fish around Blackpool in daylight , low water produces more fish !!
Well done to Kaz on out fishing the rest of us combined . Even with no fish another good day out
Andy
Edit
PS I managed to get through the day WITHOUT falling asleep on my box !!!!!

Re: report Fished Anchorsholme Sat 30th May
Well as the other guys have said I fished low water whilst the boys, Chris, Eddie and Alisha went bait digging. As the tide started to come in I caught two flatties, no pics as Chris had the camera...lol.
Andy (oldgreyfox) met us on the beach and so did Ron. The pumping was really hard work for the lads and they were worn out.
Well done to Alisha for her first bait pumping session. She looked like she'd had a really good time as there was more water in her new wellies than there was in the sea....lol.
The tide was coming in so fast we decided to set up on the wall. Hot wasn't the word, it was scorching.
Anyways no takers for me or the others but a flattie for Chris.
The kids got too hot and a bit bored so they went onto the beach as the tide went out.
Was nice to meet Eddies wife Gwen, she's lovely, and little Callum, (wow what a busy boy that one is) lol.
Frank called on for 10 mins as we packed away.
All in all a good day out with a fab chippy dinner and cracking company. Can't wait for the next time :-)
Well done to Alisha for her first bait pumping and fishing session.
