John and I are going to nip up to Fleetwood now to catch low tide at the coast guard station.
We,ll be at the car park about 8pm.

What a night, fresh pumped lug, bluey, 2 rods, 6 baits in the water, lovely sunset, and.....................................
no b****y fish
3 hours driving, 30 mins walking for what ?
I now know why Fleetwood hasn,t got a fishing fleet anymore.
Oh well one consolation, we,ve found a lad who will supply fresh pumped lug and fresh peeler crabs.......

we met him as he was pumping the lug beds between the 5th and 6th groins after the coast guard lookout post.

Better luck next time Strathy , we have all had nights like that (unfortunatley!!) .
I read an interesting theory on another forum (no not THAT one) about the fish now staying out and feeding around the wind farms , could be the reason our beaches are empty .

Destroy the windfarms! Bring fish back to beaches!!
