Pensarn

Post  FishingwithFrank on Mon May 04, 2009 3:16 am

Saturday 2/5/09 & Sunday 3/5/09 Chris and I went to Pensarn for a look around and to fish a few places. We camped on a site right on the beach.

The only facilities on site are 2 toilets and 2 sinks ( for both men / women ) ( NO SHOWERS ) Also you can plug into the camp site's elecricity. ( a min of 30 metre lenth lead will be required ) They Charge £15 per night ... there are other sites but not as near to the beach and one of them charges £35 per night.
Photo of the toilet block.

Some other points about the site, where the Tents are pitched it right next to a railway line and a motorway ( after the first 1000 trains and cars we stoped noticing them ) the good news is there is no driving to the beach and you can nip back for the toilets or a brew its so close .

There is ample free parking for anyone not staying on the site.

Also there is a Static Caravan for rent for anyone wishing to live in comfort.

This is a view looking from in front of Pensarn Railway Station

This is the road from Pensarn Railway Station leading to the camp site and meeting point

Chris will add more photos of the beach where we are fishing.

Once you go over the bridge at the train station there are car parks to you left and right, (free) to the right you can drive onto the beach and park and literally fish right out the back of your car (recomended) there are toilets in short walking distance with cafe close by anyway there you have it enjoy the pictures Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
