well down here for two weeks the first week saw me fishing a low water mark called newton point with only limited success mainly codling to 2lb falling to peeler the smoothhounds arnt showing in any numbers but the weather needs to be more settled the pier hasn't fished to well tried a few times with sandeel for a ray but only come off with a solitary eel!
hoping the winds die down then I can get some more hours in lol

I am hoping to get to Newton for a few hours over the bank holliday. Which side of the rocks did you fish?

look out towards ogmore and u see a bit of sand walk over to this and fish the ledge facing ogmore cast out towards the point in the distance 60/70 yds rotten bottem pulley rig baitd with peeler is the method codling and smoothies if its calm best of luck mate
