After being mithered for the last couple of weeks off lewis to go and try his new gear out i decided on a very last minute camping and fishing trip.The plan was to fish saturday's night tide and have a lie in this morning,but by the time we had found a campsite and got pitched up it was a bit late.So we decided to give it a miss and fish the tide this morning.

we got some fresh lug and set up and started fishing about 8.45am the sea was a bit rough with a strong breeze that was in your face a bit.
there was a lot of weed about and not much else.There were a few guys fishing further up 1 had what looked to be a doggie anyway we hadn't had a bite.Lewis brought his in to find the smallest whiting i've seen foul hooked,me and declan both blanked.Lewis brought his rod in to pack up and foul hooked a weever

All in all a good weekend shame about the lack of fish but never mind there's always next time Laughing
