Brighton Marina

Post  Buck2003 on Sun May 02, 2010 11:29 am

Hi all, just got this information and thought it maybe useful.

It is permitted to fish Brighton Marina however there is a charge of £3 per rod £5 for 2 rods. There is a tackle shop located nearby (not sure how close though) where all baits can be purchased black lug etc are £2.75 per10.

I spoke to the chap in the tackle box (that's the name) who had some really good info and seems friendly enough, ie: where best to fish. The telephone numbers 01273 696477 (The Tackle Box)

Here is a link to Brighton Marina's home page or http://www.brightonmarina.co.uk/about.html

Its quite big and gets you a good way out to sea into deep water.

If this post is in the wrong place, or would be better elsewhere please move it Very Happy

Looks like a great place to fish Rob.
But you know the most important question raised by some of our members........ is the chippy as good as the one in Bispham?

I honestly dont know the answer to that mate, however there are 100's of fish and chip shops on the front. There's also bars, restaurants shops etc in and around the Marina which is handy lol.
