went fishing at fleetwood to day 23.3.2010

i wanted to go fishing on my own as Ive not done that for a long time. and with me learning the pendulum cast i didn't want to be crossing you guys lines.
plus i wanted to try my new rigs that i made
well i had a top day
cast just over 100 yrds with the pendulum cast and had 2 plaice on my new rigs
happy days
i rang jazzman (ron) to tell him where i was to come and have a look at this new rig. he was only 500 yrds up the beach

a guy stoped to chat to me as i caught this one so i got him to take a picture for me.

well done mate you where the only one that caught anything on there today the other guys near me caught nothing
then you caught another one when i went. lets hope they tasted nice mate like i said not much on them they are what we
used to call skinnies

I was out for some casting practice i covered 170 yards with this cast a month ago i couldn't do this but ive put some practice in
i should thank birdy for the lessons then george for his post on tuning reels i looked at the videos and one of them made some sense to me
and prompted a practice session. take a look at the guy doing the exorcises they for me where brilliant

although im not a believer of watching videos as they carn't give you what you need unless its a video of yourself where you can see what is wrong
once you have the basics then its just practice. My mission is to reach 200 by the summer

Well done Chris in what looks like ideal conditions. It was quite rough there on Saturday, the wsf lads had a match at Rossall hospital with only a couple of flounders caught.
