Tuning a multiplier reel

I thought members toying with the idea of tuning surf casting reels for maximum distance would benefit from this article from the surf casting tournament fraternity.

I found that link interesting, but love my mag elite just as it is and it cast like a dream, that said I appreciate tourament casting is a whole different ball game.
