I'm back, I'm tanned and I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms.......... it's been over a month since the Abu's have turned!
So put me down on the list Tink, and Cloughie as well, and we're already looking forward to Saturday

Re: Another Fleetwood Fun Day ; Sept 26th
just made up an itinary ( remember this is just a guideline as things can change on the day )
meet up at Rossall beach just past the hospital in the carpark at 0900 - 1000 ( depending on traffic for the long journey ones ) do a bit of casting practice, rig building and so on we will be here for several hours so plenty of ideas and things along that line are most welcome ( the beach at Rossall is very quiet so no one wandering around with kids and dogs while we are flinging lead around and doing any other stuff we can think of, i'm sure many of you have tips and tricks to pass on?) then off to Marine beach to get the worms ( low tide is too high for Rossall wormbeds they will be still covered ) but at Marine Beach you can get them up to a hour or so before high tide ( plenty of time ) so no worries about bait. its just spotting the casts as many are lug ( you know the ones that live in a horseshoe hole and you need a shovel to get at ) not like at Rossall where the black are the most populus, but once you get your eye in you spot them easy enough.
Its Marine beach where the pumping is being done so if any want to learn thats where we will do it ( and Chris can see if his new found trick still works, and if it does its a killer tip)
At Marine beach there are still Flatties and Whiting being caught and they are much bigger now. so hopefully many will be caught and at last the EELS have buggered off!
But if anyone reading this and can't make the meet but still want to fish the coast next week i am going out every night at Anchorshome ( if i can get the bait that is
) stocking up the freezer for winter and the 4 -5 month gap between trams
any comments or suggestions for tomorrow please dont hesitate to add them
cheers
Tink
