I had a lie in and got down there just 2 hours before high-tide. I've never seen so many rods out Every 30 yards from Boat Club to the Bull-nose next to the sea defence works taken up, but I managed to get on the end next to the slipway and get 2 rods out. The sea was a bit calmer than last night, and I didn't get quite as wet ......... but the bl**dy weed! I had to hand line one lump up and was really p*ss*d when ... I was not dissapointed, there were about 8 anglers and 5 of us had a mini match (£1 each for heaviest fish) High rollers eh! Then i pulled in this 2lb plaice with my first cast This did not make me the most popular person on the jetty anyway plenty of fish were caught incl 1 small codling 1 rockling a decent size dab and plenty of whiting ...
